The number of feminine journalists has elevated over time, however organizational hierarchies remain managed mostly by males. Studies of British news organizations estimate that greater than 80% of decision-makers are males. Similar research have discovered ‘old boys’ networks’ in charge of news organizations in the United States and the Netherlands. Further, newsrooms are likely to divide journalists by gender, assigning men to “hard” matters like navy, crime, and economics, and girls to “gentle”, “humanised” matters. One problem is “click on-thinking”, the editorial number of news tales—and of journalists—who can generate probably the most website hits and thus advertising revenue. Unlike a newspaper, a news website has detailed data collection about which stories are in style and who’s studying them.
